Please there are two important points we will like you to note concerning the CO-OP program and they are:

  • Whether you join a CO-OP program or not, it does not in any way affect decisions regarding your admission, and joining one is entirely up to you.

  • You can apply online through OUAC using the OUAC 101 formnorth_east if you’re a full-time secondary school student or have graduated within the previous seven months.
  • You will be issued a username and password by your guidance counselor which you will use to open a session on the OUAC website.
  • Ensure that you declare either completed or not on all your present and past postsecondary studies even if they are not connected to your present application. This is because if you fail to do this, it may lead to the withdrawal of your offer of admission or cancellation of your application at any time.
  • Also, ensure that you pay application feesnorth_east for all admission applications but before then, endeavor to visit the OUAC website to know which fees you are expected to pay.
  • Apply online if you finished secondary school more than seven months ago or if you’re studying in secondary school using the OUAC 105 formnorth_east part-time or evenings or in an adult Secondary school.

3. Log into uoZone to track your status

  • Within a week you applied, it is expected that you should receive an email admitting receipt of your application. That being said, make sure you pay attention to your junk mail inbox just in case and if after two weeks, you did not receive it, email admissions@uOttawa.ca.
  • Another thing is this, make sure that you save the acknowledgment of receipt email because it is this email that tells you how to log into the uoZone student portal to keep you updated on the progress of your application. Therein, you will find your user ID, student number, and password.
  • The next thing to do after logging into uoZone is to check your Admission file to find out the list of supporting documents you need to submit to finish your application.
  • Contact our IT Service Desk for technical assistance that has to do with your uoAccess ID or uoZone password.

4. Submit the required documents
